Happy International Women's Day!

Our cultures may be different and we may look differently,

 but we celebrate our differences and our similarities!

 We are women, we are sisters and we are of the womenhood

 of intuition, emotions, femininity and love

yet of strength, logic and decisiveness

We are love and we give love – naturally and nurturingly.

Regardless of whether Africans, Americans, Asians, Caribbean, Europeans, Latinos... the world over, we have the same makeup and needs, 

and we play the roles of who we are 

– daughters, sisters, wives, mothers, grandmothers, aunties - from one body -

we are whole within ourselves. 

We are independent, yet dependent, soft and gentle, yet strong and courageous. 

Our work is never finished, from the home to the office; 

we have emerged and have arisen, empowered and resilient 

and our value cannot be devalued. 

We celebrate our past, our present and we trust God for our future. 

We are women, International Women, One Woman

we share a bond the world over
